Which turbo... again..?
What does the Diablo do different from the Edge, and why should they BOTH be used at the same time?
Also, how would one know when it's "time" to upgrade the injectors? And going off of what Mork said, it sounds like less could be more when it comes time to picking the size injectors one would need.
The diablo is an amazing fueler box (with timing) it gives you incredible bottom end. The hot juice is a duration box, (better high end) all that is missing really is a little pressure (hence either a xzt or a dr performance unit) But that is where you need to have a upgraded cp3 to provide the rail with enough fuel

Yes, they both do the same thing, but in a different manner. I didn't understand this really until Quad explained it to me in another thread. And he doesn't even make a duration box! What a guy!!!
Lark, you should also consider that your 06 and my 05 already have better injectors that what the 03 guys came with stock. Not saying what they have now isn't better because I sure it is. What I'm saying is you might not need the expense of injectors just yet. I'm going to see what I can do with the stockers. If I really need the Nth degree of power, I may get some, but I don't see it in my foreseeable future... I've got to spend on other things, like turbos and intercoolers and such...

Looseboltsrob does, he had a silver 62, smarty (or CL) and mp8.
Ran 525+ I think with each DL and just shy of 1000tq.
Personally I dont know if the Silver 62 is worth the extra $ over the SPS62 BUT the way I see it if you want the best you gota pay for it. I am serisouly considering a silver 62 or silver bullet myself. I know a SPS would be good enough but I am the type of person that likes the lates and greatest and if it helps drivability, peak hp, and 1/4 times even a little, it is worht it IMO.

Sorry for the late reply here. I love my silver 62, but it's not going to ever support 600-700 HP, no smallish 62mm compressor will on diesel only. I made 539 RWHP and 990 ft/lbs with the mods in my signature. It only made 41 psi on the dyno, yet pushes 50 psi on the street. If I could find someone with an inertia dyno that would load the motor up enough, it'd easily push over 1000 ft/lbs and over 550 HP too. II told me the turbo is good for 550 HP, but I think it'll support close to 600 with the right combo of injectors and stacks of boxes/programmer.
The response of my turbo is outstanding. It's definitely not as quick to spool down low as stock, but it's far from annoying...it's not even noticeable to me now that I've got some miles with it. EGTs are crazy low too...1180 max on a full 1/4 mile pass. Speaking of that, I ran 14.6@95 mph w/ the stock turbo. With the new turbo, manifold, and MP8 stacked, it went 14.4@100.2. That's with a some what conservative shift on the NV, and about my limit without trashing synchros.
I have a question for you guys running the Hot Juice/ Predator stack. I thought the Hot Juice in the 03-04.5 trucks added pressure so the use of a EZ, EXT, MP-8, Dr.Performace and any other pressure box would be rather high rail pressure with 2 boxes adding pressure. I maybe wrong but I thought the Edge added pressure already. Now on the 04.5-05 Hot tune it doesn't I know.
Rob, according to II the silver 62 is good for 700 hp, and I feel that is accurate, I am quite sure that I can feasably attain close to that. I hit 55psi on the street, on the mustang dyno running in OD and them loading up the dyno I was able to get 51. I hit 632, and was still climbing, but I ran out of fuel in the rail, and had low rail pressure. That is why I want to add in a pressure box, I would like to see my pressures up to the 27-28500 k mark under WOT.
Sloverado, I cant answer your question with absolute certanity, but I believe that the diablo is more timing and duration, and the edge is also a bit of timing and pressure, at least that is the way it seems by driving it. The diablo has to be alot of timing to get the pronounced power down low that it gets, and seeing as the powerpuck is a pressure box, it must not add any pressure itself.
I just know that this stack works, and works real well on my truck
