TST Powermax CR49 stacked with BDTD

Quick question,
I'm looking to stack a pressure box with my BDTD running Crazy Larry. I know the TST does all 3 fuel functions, but would it stack well using only the pressure part of it?
Kinda kills 2 birds with 1 stone since it has a built in rail gauge.

Would I keep my boost fooler connected with the stack?
Thanks
Will

Will, I would try an MP8 or an X2 pressure only. You don't need any more pulse width w/ a BDDL already on there. The X2 you can do timing/pressure or pressure only.

I'll have to agree with the above. While I really like my TST, the rail pressure feature on it for somereason does not like modded cp3's. Stock cp3's it's ok. Dual cp3's seems to be ok... it bounced all over the place with my floor it stage 3. No problems with either smarty or power puck in this regard. Point is, I don't think it is worth the trouble to find out on your own. I second getting the x2. You do not need to keep the boost fooler with the TST if you went that route.

No rail gauge likes modded CP3's. They make a crazy dirty signal.

I doubt I'll ever twin my CP3, I think adding pressure will be about it 'performance-wise' for me, just wanna get over 500 on the dyno.

Went to the site and downloaded the TST manual, it does lotsa stuff but I'm still undecided.
Thanks for the advice...

I once again agree on the Quad X2 im about to get rid of the smarty and switch to the Bullydog again and think the X2 with pressure only should be very nice and along with crazy larry can easily put me close to my goal of 500hp. You could sell your boost fooler if you wanted and use it torwards the Quad X2.

Sorry i didn't get back to your other thread my computer died for a while. I love the rail gauge feature for my Quad X2 and seems to read accurate for me. On a daily driving basis the Quad doesnt put pressure when its uneeded (except for peak pressure) from the looks of it but dont quote me since currently im not running pressure only. MP8 will be more agrresive and probably feel nicer but may be a little more demanding but than again i've never had one.

I feel my quad X2 is smoother than the powerpuck i had and really makes a nice addition on top of a programmer but on top of stock programming doesnt do much for me except wanting more. We both have similar mods except your a 6 speed with 35's and you dont have an air horn.

Another thing i prefer with my Quad is the ability to choose which programming i want to use and can download it such as max milage, smoke or pressure only.

Thats where all the powers at!!!

They suggest you mount it in the cab and only took about 15 minutes to do. The wire for the POD is very short so i mounted it under my steering wheel. The gauge is smaller than all the others and is pefect for sitting on the wheel without obstructing your other view of gauges.

You put the pod below your steering wheel? How can you read it down there?

I think he means on top of the steering column, but can see it through the bottom, of the top of, the steering wheel.

hmm... did I say that right?

I keep a mirror right in my lap just to see it!!! hahaha

Yes the gauge is on top of the steering column in front of the hazards switch, sorry i didn't write that better. The Quad itself is held in an area underneath the steering column right on top of the OBD port.
