TST is off the truck and headed back

The performance end of the TST is just awesome but the functionality isn't working. The cool down feature of my r49 doesn't work (truck shuts down immediately), no matter the settings. Anyone else had this problem?

Danny sent me out a new timing harness but that didn't change anything so I had to take everything off and send it in.

Questions is, should I get the Twins version and adjustable timing while it's in? I am almost certain I will get the adjustable timing but what about twins? What does it do? Explain please.

I believe the tst starts fueling around 12lbs, with the twins program it fuels way before that! I could be way off hear but the regular program starts fuelin at 12lbs and is at max fuel at around 30lbs, the twins program it will be at max fueling around 12lbs. Someone please correct me if im wrong, cause like i said i could be way off!

If you plan on keeping a stock turbo for a while do not get the twins version. It will be too hard on the shaft of the turbo.

I think it fuels at 4lbs and it's VIOLENT. I had it with my stock charger and couldn't use it very much, it will die a horrible death.

But for those of us with a better turbo I guess it's pretty nice. I'm thinking about sending mine in for the twins program....

Guys, I don't think they call it twins because it looks like a set of ooters. Its meant for high volume air supply such as a super single or twins. A 66/12 or equivalent is the smallest to use the box's potential. Sure it will work with a smaller turbo but I don't think it will run cool. ks

Well then, I will hold off on the Twin's program and get the adjustable timing. Just something else to play with.

Regular program starts fueling at 12psi and ramps up to full fueling at 30psi.

Regular twins program (for 04.5 and up trucks, or '03-'04 trucks with injectors, TST says) starts fueling at 4psi and ramps to full fueling by 24psi.

Early twins program (for '03 and '04 trucks w/ stock injectors) starts fueling at 4psi and ramps to full fueling by 12 psi.

I have the early twins flash, and if I had to do it again, I think the regular twins program is what I'd want. Anything over about 3x2 gets really peaky and will bark your turbo a lot if you're not careful.

I just don't believe people that say the drive with early twins flash on 5x5 every day. It's like driving an old, peaky 2 stroke 250 dirt bike. Once it "gets on the pipe" look out!

I made my numbers with the standard program. It's no slouch.

I have not heard of the adustable timing, Do you mean you can actually adjust the max timing used in the box?

That is correct....you can adjust the overall timing the box will use.

I called them about it today. It's another screen on the remote which will let you turn down timing advance. Mark said it was due to a lot of requests from people who were stacking with downloaders and pressure boxes.

$50 upgrade if you want it done, although I imagine you'd qualify for a freebie.

Another cool thing I learned today, it doesn't matter what remote you have, the boxes themselves are all the same. If you want to buy a second box it doesn't matter what it is. It can be upgraded to work with your remote.

I'm looking on a deal on a used one so I can have BOTH twins programs...

Does anyone know at what boos level the "Original" TST starts fueling and when it is all-in? By "Original", I mean the very first ones they producted that were so hard on turbos before they retuned it.

Is anyone running one of them and making high HP. If so, what other mods do you have?
