Exclamation TST & MP-8 Stack Question

I currently have the TST into the Map sensor first, and then the MP-8 into the TST. Is there any reason to reverse them with my setup? Is it worth the hassle? I am a little confused as to what the difference would be.

Thanks!

I'm not sure what the difference is, but when I bought mine from Dennis, he said to plug his into the MAP and the TST into the MP8.

If you want the stack to work properly, you want the MP-8 in the MAP sensor first. The MP-8 inflates the MAP values at low boost to get the TST to fuel harder on the bottom end. It really wakes the TST up, more so than any other pressure box. I love mine!

Plug the mp-8 in first.

I'll say it again, you need to break in the motor before you start pouring the coals to it.

to adjust the max boost on your twins, you need to adjust the wastegate, someone will know

I will be breaking them in, although, as I was talking with the techs about it; they were not exactly sure why it would be necessary. Obviously the motor is new, so it need broken in. But they were saying, after looking at the turbos, that they were really ready to go out of the box, and that the clutch needed some breaking in. I am one to always err on the side of caution so that stuff doesn't break in the long run, I am just not sure what could break on this setup. It seems that if it were good enough to go; not much is going to change in a few hundred or thousand miles.

You'd be surprised. The bearings in the turbo's need to break in and loosen up, the studs need to be heated up and retorqued, the clutch needs to be burnt in and worn in, the pistons rings and cylinder walls need to file themselves smooth, main bearings need to work in, lifters on the cam need to wear in, lots of stuff needs to break in and loosen up and work with each other. It doesn't take long though considering how fast those parts are moving.

Less fuel less boost...don't turn the fuel up and keep your foot off the floor and you won't see 20 psi.

Hurry up and put a couple of big road trips on it...so we can see the results!

Be sure to get a spare releif valve for that stack, in my past experiences they go pretty fast.
