Tried it....correction...tried 3 of them at Nationals in Houston....NONE worked correctly. Tried visiting the TS booth at Nationals...no help. was refunded for all 3. Its actually a Suncoast part re-labeled and sold as TS!

Lock-up.....Locking your converter up in 2nd is better on the trans AND is faster in the quarter mile...you can also lug in 2nd like you can in 4th.

The best solution I found was using a manual switch. Without hitting the switch, the trans works normally. Hit the switch in 2nd and HOLD ON!!!! its fun! Also, wire a light into your switch. The light will be on ALL the time but will go out when the converter is locked. Its annoying since the light is on when the truck is off, but its cool to watch the light and hit the switch, watch the light go out, and your truck cover some serious ground.

words to the wise...hitting the switch while sitting still kills the truck and is NOT good on the converter....Don't lock up in first....lock 'er up in 2nd when the rpms are up a little bit

When I wired in my manual switch I wired in the led to come on when the torque converter locks. Just tie one side into the ground wire from the trans and the other to a keyed 12 volt source. My light even works when the computer calls for lock-up and the switch is off.
