TrXus Mud Terrain

Does anyone have any feedback on this tire? It looks to be the most aggressive E rated radial I've seen. Just wondering what kind of life I might get out of them.

if it is the most aggressive then you will probably get the worst mileage you have ever seen.

I got 35,000 miles out of my ssrs on my f250, proper rotation is key, the trxus are not as agressive as the ssr so I would think 35k would be easily seen.

i had trXus in 285/75/16 on my old truck. they are good for rockcrawling, mud, and sand. they are terrible on the highway, truck wandered all over the road. it is possible to get 30k out of them with proper rotation, but they wear fast because the tread is so soft. not an ideal tire for towing or hauling, might be ok if you run empty or do any amount of decent wheeling. if you're buying them purely for looks i'd stick with the STS.

I guess I’m looking to get my cake and eat it too. I want a tire that’s aggressive as the BFG MT’s but I want an E rated tire. I saw a price somewhere on line for $177, which is substantially lower that the BFGs. I got about 50K miles on my last BFG MT's, but that was on an F-150.

And I do realize that any tire that looks better, or is bigger than my 265/70/17, is going to equate to less fuel efficiency.

Thanks
