I've had one for 6k miles...no issues, works good in conjunction with exhaust to lower egt's...bit more turbo noise....doesnt injest hot air, didnt cost $400..figure if foam works for my dirtbikes, should work for the truck...happy with it!

I'm using one in the half ton, I really like it. No more filthy throttle body (must be filtering well) and the truck went 12s with it in, so it must also flow pretty well.

I think I'll gut the silencing material in the intake of the CTD, drop the silencer ring and throw a True Flow filter in it too.

I've had mine on for about 6 months and it works well, creates more turbo noise, and seems to filter well.

Some guys don't like the oiled filter, but it works for me.

We have a True Flow Intake on my wife's Hemi and she thinks it is great. I have cleaned the filter one time since I installed it and there is no dirt getting past it.

Just cleaned mine after 6k miles....it was dirty on the outside, but the inside was nice and clean as was the intake tube....a lot harder to clean than the dirtbike filters (Uni)...becasue of the cage / mesh structure....took about 20 minutes (put cleaner on 2x's)....and need to let it dry all day....good reason to keep your stock filter in case you need to go somewhere during the drying time...the trick is going to be the oiling...enough for good filtration but not too much to coat the intake sensor....

I've had one on my truck since it was new, just turned 60k and I think it works great. I have to clean it every 8 to 10k but the tube is still clean as new and never a trace of dust. This year we are 17" below our normal rainfall and it is really dusty around here. I'm off road about 50% of the time on ranch roads and cattle trails and this thing eats a lot of dirt. I think the TrueFlow Air Filter was one of my better investments.

local deisel shop here has a a few on hand, just stop by, and he swaps you out a clean one. he cleans & oils them properly,

oiling filters is too much pain.
