If it gets red-flagged, and its forwarded to DC, then you are pretty much up the creek with no paddle.

i heard that guy..it's kinda my deal at the moment and another guy also that happend to him 2 months ago. he had the bully dog in his 05 and wiped out his tranny. so he pulled off the "downloader" and sucked out the programs etc. fought like hell to win.. after they found the "unknown codes" in the pcm, that was it. over. so my deal is another part. went south. and i have the chance of the "killer card" on my plate maybe. if so i am shot. win some loose some. if you play you might have to play i guess?

inferno...what are you saying then??? they can't do this? they wanted to see my truck, but i was busy. my service manager called me and said that not going to "waranty" my part, and they are thinking of flagging my VIN for ever? whats up with that? hey i will drop the claim and keep going the other direction. just how in the hell can they red flagg saying it's been modified somehow? screw DC. so as i sit waiting for that phone call, like a week or so. just kills me....

Boxes+stock autos don't mix.

Boxes kill stock trannys. Our autos are built for stock power. Mine slipped immediately after installing an Edge EZ. DTT fixed that for a price(ouch)! I can see D/C refusing to fix the tranny but why the whole vehicle? Seems like overkill. P.S. This was on my '99.Fully expect the clutch on my '07 to not withstand too much additional power coupled with a 1700# camper on its back.

Exclamation

i look at it this way............the time and money factor to fight DC "IF" my truck get's banned from waranty........i have the money...just the time and effort to do this.... if my truck gets the killer card, then i have NO choice to fight and become the very few or the 1ST to ever beat DC at their own game. i will not in anyway give them the pleasure of being god in this case. my gut feeling is DC reads these posts and collects all MODS on trucks here on DTR. so when it's time to take her in to do waranteeee work it's over.

so still sit and wait to hear a yes or no answer??????? it will get me wound up to hear that DC says...NO. the part that gets me is how can you flagg a truck with no proof of any MODS???? no visual nothing? just brought truck in and pulled info out of pcm and no mystery codes at all?????? once again still looking for that very few DTR members or others that have gone through this and just maybe reversed and lifted the mighty old flagg.....

if you guys at DC are reading this post right now, LISTEN UP....message to you......"it's not what you know it's who you know when it comes to buisness !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you guys can beat people up beat them down to say "i give" not here. with common knowlege and good "backup" anyone can win this war.........................

I think its great that you are willing to stand up to them! Its about time someone does.
The only problem I see is that DC has very deep pockets for the best lawyers.
I only hope you don't waste more money fighting them then it would cost to fix your truck. Good luck

Dodge's star system is very advanced... once you're flagged, you'll never get warranty work, period
