truck died, won't start back

Last week I had my truck at a local transmission shop to replace my valve body. After the guys were finshed installing the valve body they took it for a test drive. About a mile from there shop the truck died while driving down the road. They had to tow it back to their shop. They messed with it for about 30 minutes and they finally got it started. When I got there to pick it up, it ran fine. The tranny guy said it threw 2 fuel related codes, but he cleared them before I got there and couldn't remember the codes. So as I was driving it home it died again with me. I had to have it towed home. When I turn the key, it tries to start but never does. About a week before all this I installed a GDP 392 fuel system. Could the problem have to do with it? Any help would be great.

Sounds GDP kit related to me. I would check everything over and then maybe disconnect the line somewhere after the walboro and check pressure/supply with the key on.

I know it sounds stupid but is there enough fuel in it? Fuel level senders go bad and depending on how you installed the fuel system it may be sucking air below 1/4 tank. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge?

I was gonna mention that, but thought the problem didn't start until the '06 trucks. But yeah, after my dad did a GDP on his 06, he can't let it get below 1/4 tank or it won't start. I think he's gonna do the Jeep Liberty pickup to resolve it.

I don't have a fuel pressure gauge. I have a little less than a half a tank of fuel. I figured out the pump was not working. I did check my wiring. The positive side of the pump was not hot. My fuse was good and I replaced my my relay. Still couldn't get power to it. So I ran a wire straight from the battery to pump, then the pump came on. But I can't get power with through the GDP harness. I guess I got a short somewhere. It got dark so I'll wait until tomorrow to mess with it some more. any more suggestions?
