i thought the pitman arm affects steering geometry, not whether you track straight or not. i drove my truck with 3 1/2" lift with factory pitman arm, and noticed my steering geometry was off, but no other handling or tracking issues. i then put on a drop arm with a track bar bracket and it corrected the steering geometry and re-centered the axle. the wandering issue sounds more like a tire/ alignment problem than a pitman arm. just my .02

its the pitman arm causing the steering link to be unparellel to the tracbar, that is the problem. the tracbar and steering link need to be at the same angle (parallel) to eachother. im having the same problem because i droped my tracbar and didnt touch the pitman arm so now they are at different angels.

so i didn't experience a problem because i did the pitman arm and the trackbar bracket at the same time? if that's the case, it seems to make sense.

ya the most important thing on the track bar and drag link you want those as parallel as possable, i made a custom drop bracket when i had 10" in the front and 39.5s and it tracked and rode like a truck on 39.5s,good, lol, when i sold the wheels and tires i put 35s on it and droped the lift to 6" with the 6" drop backet for the track bar and it was all over the road, but ive also had that same drop pitman with both lifts and i swaped steering from a 99 on my 05 cuz the Y link steering on the new ones hate lifts.

Topguncustumz.com just tell them how much lift you have up front and they send you the correct length to center your axle in the wheel well.

Nice tubular control arms with zerk fittings on each end with poly bushings. Not as nice as the Thuren and the likes of that but better than stock.
