I have a cam position sensor code on my truck P0341 . Does anyone have any experience with this?

So, I took it in to the dealer and they said that the injection pump was bad and it leaked fluid onto the cam sensor. they replaced the pump, and now I am waiting for them to order a new wiring harness. I also bought an extended waranty while I was at it. The truck still has the surge though, so I don't know if it is because of the wiring, or if it could be something else. Any fresh ideas out there?

I wonder if your fuel pump is acting up. Mine surged when I ran the edge cranked all the time and it eventually failed.

Also make sure you dont run your truck all the way to runnin on fumes cause the intank pumps (i think you have one, right) are fluid cooled and the will burn up if you run them outta fuel alot. I always did.

These are just from personal expereience I could be way off.

so, if it is the fuel pump going bad, what's the cost to replace, and can I upgrade it?

Yep get an fass, gdp, or air dog ($499) on the DTR store right now I think. It is an improvement you will be happy with. I also gained a lil mileage with the air seperator and fuel filters that came with my FASS.

Do you know how much more this is than a stock replacement?

More money no but my guess is the stocker is like 2-300 bucks. You should be covered under warranty unless they see your edge module though.

The stock one is around $300 for the replacement iirc, if it was me I would just upgrade it now so that you never have to worry about it again.
