Transmission Temp Probe?
Transmission Temp Probe?
Is there a port on the MANUAL TRANSMISSION to install the transmission temp probe like the automatic. This is for the Commander module from Quadzilla. I read a thread on the manual and auto the other day about the trans. temp. probe but can't find it. Any help would be appreciated, Ron.

Look on the oil filter housing on the passenger side of the truck at the front of the engine. You will see an 1/8 plug, remove it and screw the tranny probe in there. Be careful not to overtighten. USe teflon tape and you are done!
Then in the menu go to Setup, sensor selcetion, trans/oil, then select oil on. Then you are done and it reads oil.

I appreciate the info Quad, but we have another problem i think. Everything is hooked up correct but thr commander module will not show anything on the screen, it gets hot but nothing anything to check for or am i not doing something right, please help, RON. Another question, by noy having the tranny probe hooked up yet could that be the problem why its not showing nothing on the screen?
Nope, it will just show OFF in the trans screen, or if you turned it on it will read 104.
First thing to do is take it to a computer and plug the USB in and see if it powers up correctly with a display. DO NOT let windows try and install a driver for it though. We have a special driver needed to update it. You do not need this driver just to power it up.
Doing this will make sure that there is not a wiring problem. If it still does not power up let me know. Actually shoot me a pm with your number after you do this and I will just call you.
