Does anyone know of a good qualified mechanic/truck shop that can install a transmission temp gauge in my 2004.5 Dodge Ram 3500 with an auto transmission. I live in the Atlanta/Alpharetta Georgia area. I need to get one installed now that I am towing a 12,500 pound 5th wheel camper. Thanks.

If you have any type of skill, I would suggest you do the install yourself. It is really not that difficult. Some will argue not to use the test port for the sensor, but that is what I used. Comparing to others that used the trans pan, my numbers are the same.

 

I agree with 05HDRAM about the test port. Easy to do yourself.

 

Just as easy to do the replacement Hot line with a test port. Can get them from Dieselmanor or Massdiesel.

 

If you absolutely need to have someone else do it, get ahold of Decatur Automotive. They're good people.
