I just wanted to give you guys a little feedback on the transgo shift kit incase anyone is looking to buy one. I just had it installed in my 05 last week and so far so good. It did firm up the shifts like it said it would or should i say it crispend them up. Its not neck snapping like the shift kit in my ole chevy but im wasnt expecting a drastic change considering all the computers. It didnt change that dang anoying 1-2 shuttle shift that drives my crazy but it does find the gears faster if it does happen so i guess thats a plus. Lockup also comes in alot faster just like it said it would. Overall i believe its worth the money. In the long run i believe it will also save wear and tear on the transmission so thats a big plus.

 

Thanks for the info! I was thinking of getting it. I should do something to my tranny before I do anymore to the motor. A buddy of mine offered my a LPG kit for my truck tank and all so I might do the tranny kit also! Keep us posted! Thanks!
