I am replacing my radio and have a question....How in the heck do I get the transfer case **** off? Do I need to remove it to replace the radio? I have the small cup holder assembly.

Unscrew or do I need to remove the indicator?? If I need to remove the indicator how do I do so in order to avoid scarring it up?

 

on your 06, the transfer **** should come off with the trim. At least it does on mine, than then just disconnect the plug. Im assuming you have an electronic transfer case.

 

Thanks own1...I have the manual shift transfer case. I actually got the cup holders out without removing the ****. I just pressed it through the cut-out. Once I got that out I had my radio installed in 15 minutes. Man-do I like the Raq in comparison to the stocker even though I lost my aux input.

 

WHAT KIND OF RADIO DID YOU PUT IN ?? I was thinking of up grading to a mp3, cd player...with more power

 

Belgianmagic- I put in the 6 disc in-dash,MP3,sirius....Simple plug and play, works perfectly, and I didnt even need to call Sirius to convert to the new radio.
