Does any one know if I can use the pyro sensor from bully dog p/n 40390, in the trans?

Can i use that setup at all, with a different sensor?

Im tired of looking through past post, without finding answers......

 

You are best off with a gauge that will read ~140-280, full scale. Any gauge that uses a pyro will not have enough resolution on the dial face to be of any value.

No, you cannot. It's not sensative enough at lower temps, and it's not designed for oil immersion.
