Tranny Build Up Questions?

Well I'm getting ready to have my local transmission builder, build up my tranny within the next few months and I have a couple questions. I'm planning on reaching about 600 hp and I will be going to the track about once a month with an occasional sled pull. Do you guys think I need billet shafts and if so which ones? Also who's triple disk torque converter should I go with?
Thanks Andrew

Definatley go with billet input shaft. These 48re's shift locked from 3rd to 4th and with better internals its really hard on that input shaft. As far as intermediate and output that kinda depends if you plan on doing much powerbraking or boosted launches. Just about any one of the big guys sell quality products. I would give them all a call and go with what your instinct tells you. Most important is going to be your installer because local support is key.

Your right there in power and usage that demands billet shafts all the way thru. The shifts are not locked to locked normally but you will want them to be to keep ET and wheel speed up, plus, a good triple disk just transfers a lot more power. Opie 1 piece input, intermediate and output would be a good choice.

Thanks for the help. I'll probably be going with a billet input right now and maybe later down the road upgrading to a billet intermediate and output. Do you think that with my current mods i'll be ok without all billet shafts?

Your ok with your current mods and just a billet input as long as you don't do 20 psi boosted launches.
