heres my bars i just finished,except for the iron the parts we carry at work (case ih dealer) i used 2 top 3pt hitch links and cut ball joints off and replaced with bushings my brother made and then pressed rubber combime bushings in for the joints these take a 5/8 bolt. the pipe was 2" od and 7/16 thick and was counterbored to fit the end of the threaded link tubein each end and then welded.

How many degrees rotation do the lower joints allow. You should have at least 30 degrees to avoid bind.

Heavy wall 2"...I bet those are heavy. I used 1/2 the thickness.

 

I knew the pipe size was overkill but its what i found and i know there not going to give. they will allow for plenty of rotation.
