Toyo Open Country MT tire life....

For those who are running, what kind of mileage are you getting out of these?

So far I have about 600 miles on mine and they still look new!

Seriously though, I'm curious to hear what kind of mileage others are getting out of the Toyo M/T's.

My brother has 35x12.50/20 Toyo MTs on his '06 F-350 and they are wearing very quickly. He has roughly 15k miles and I'd say they have 20%-25% tread life remaining. He does tow a heavy 39' 5th wheel toyhauler quite frequently so I'm sure that has a pretty big effect on wear.

Wow, I was thinking about these tires after new wheels and lift, but no way I can afford the price of this tire for it to last only 25K or so. Looks like it might be back to good ol BFGs then.

Any pics of what they look like mounted up on your truck? I am open to looking at them, but I would like the look of a little bit of an aggressive tread on the truck.

I went with the ATs also. They actually have a 30k mile treadlife guarantee. I didn't want the noise associated with an MT either, but I sure would have liked the aggressive look of one!

AT's

I have the AT's on mine. I have about 30k and will probably get another 20k out of them. They are on the rear for the agressive tread as opposed to the Michelins I run on the front. I do not pull heavy or run loaded down very often though.

I think getting 30k out of a large mudder on a heavy truck like ours is pretty good. I have racked up 50k on 32" BFG mudders but that was on a 4500 lb 1st gen 4Runner. I don't expect to see that kind of mileage on any mud tire on my Megacab.

82k on a BFG 37x12.5.

The bigger tire...the longer they should last. You should expect more from your tires.

Change your air pressure, rotation interval, u turn style, or tire choice and I do believe mopst people should see over 50k from a good tire these days.

wow, what a range. 20k-50k

I was hoping for something more definitive.
After looking at reviews, the Firestone AT seems to get great reviews along with high mileage marks.

I've still got quite a few miles left on the stockers, so I've got some time.
