I agree about ATS. As for the others, I don't think you can go wrong. I went with DTT because there is an installer in every state. They build the tranny and you save on shipping, don't have to mess with the core, they install it, etc. If I every had a problem then they are somewhat close. DTT is pretty picky on who builds their tranny.

I agree against ATS. I've heard too many bad things about them. My vote goes to Goerend. Dave is an awesome guy to deal with, and his transmissions are top notch. I've heard good things about HTS and DTT also though, so probably between those 3

It just wouldn't be right if I didn't throw a plug in for SunCoast!

I'll sell you my ATS stage 1 combo/setup so I can go with GOEREND.

Where is Siloam Springs? Out of the big name transmission guys, DTT, HTS, Goerend, NADP, ATS, etc., are there any of those certified builders in your area? Think about what you're gonna do, if for whatever reason, something does end up happening to your built transmission. Are you comfortable getting parts shipped to you and fixing it? If not, you'll most likely have to yank the tranny, ship it to them so they can fix it, then wait for it to come back. For me, that is quite a hassle. Hopefully that never happens. If you do end up going that route, from what I've read, it sounds like HTS and Goerend are VERY understanding when things like this occur, and they have been extremely accomodating.

I probably would've went that route if I didn't have a DTT installer in my area. BTW, I love my tranny!

I'd put my Suncoast up against any company mentioned here. Over 100 track passes and 10,000 miles driving to each event and I've yet to break. Keep in mind my truck is 8500lbs on 37's. Suncoast was the innovator of high performance transmissions for our trucks many years back. Anything and everything will break though.

As for ATS... you guys do realize Jimmy Smith who drives one of the fastest 4x's in the country has an ATS trans. If you've ever seen his truck run, you'd wonder how anything could hold up to his launches. I believe John P also runs ATS. They do make a good product.
