Torq Converter, Which One

I may replace the torq converter anyway when i tear down the tranny and see the damage from the shaft break, I have been told to run a 15 blade left cut converter. Any suggestions at to what type of converter will be great. Keep in mind my 37's with 4:10 gears and the BD R-700 Twin Turbos. What convertor will be the best fit for my mods? Triple or a good single disc?

Just to give you another place, Dunrite does a pretty good job as well. Tony is his name and has awesome products.

Duk, I really think you need to get rid of the BD VB if that's what you still have.

The only one that offers an unconditional lifetime warranty is Dave Goerend. If you break a shaft and it hurts the TC, it get replaced for free.

I am leaning towards the 15 blade left cut from Dave Goerend. I hear thats what he likes to put in trucks with twins.

DUK, you could also send your converter up to Spec-Rite for them to go through and adjust accordingly.

I love my Spec-Rite!!!

Whats the turn around and price look like. As long as the break didn't damage it

Talk to Erik tomorrow about the cost...the time I figure should be no more than a week. They are located in Redding....so a couple of hours away..should not take too long.

I do know this...as long as the converter isint shattered....it will cost way less than a new one!!!
