Will this mod add to what millage i am getting fromm Bully Dog Tripple dog. I also looked at the rokkteck site it listed the tuners and boxes it could be used whith but it said nothing about bully dog programmer.I am thinking about using rokkteck so i can change it out in case truck has to go in for service. If anyone could give me some advise it would greatly be appreciated.

 

why dont you use the search feature? there are a ton of topics related to the tone ring mod.

To get better milage you would have to move the tone wheel a bunch , but then you run into setting a code and turning on the the light . The computer checks both cam and crank signal and if one is way off (wich one have to be to get better milage) it set a code . So my thought on the tone wheel is you dont really increase the milage .. you can get a mile or two from changing places you get your fuel. Your best milage gain is with a box that controls the timminig in it so it can fool the cam sensor and keep the signals together. Chris
