TnT R whats the shift limiter do?

Per the website:

Shift Limiter***

# 0 - Stock (On)
# 1 - Off ( also shift light indicator will be turned off )

Can anyone explain in detail what this does in the off position?

#1 eliminates torque management = kick ****

be careful though this is VERY HARD on even the best built transmissions

but your truck will tear up some asphalt and remove a few thousand miles of rubber LMAO........

That's what i was hoping, but not the part about "very hard" on built transmissions....so guessing you guys just use if for burn out sessions and track time only?

Is this the same / similiar to the Bully Dog "destroy transmission" option for tq mgmt?

And only then!!

Seriously... all the TM is gone, it is more wild than the "wild" TM. Marco specifically stated not to drive around like this as it would hurt the tranny... leave it for the track.

OK, sold, no track time for me, so i think i'll steer clear of grenading my trans.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Unless your beating on you truck everywhere you go, I don't see it being an issue on a built trans.
Electronics / torque management are relatively new.
Auto transmissions have been smokin the tires through shifts for many years.
They may not have had 700+ HP & God nows how much torque though

The difference for me was a 1.9 60' compared to a 1.7....and it spun hard in 4wd on that 1.7 run.

I was just trying to see if i could use for agro daily driving....to have agressive down low power....not necessairly for boosted launches (snap) or track racing...think the moral of the story, is for full billet shafts (i only have billet input), and for temp usage at the track.....

I vote to not destroy my expensive trans mods for the benefit of having this....maybe when the truck is my 3rd car!

Thanks for all of the feedback!

I couldn't really use it for daily driving because it not only eliminates the gear indicator lights, but it also locks up my Pioneer head unit so only the back-up cam picture shows. That's probably a good thing for my tranny though!
