Tires.. LR D or E?

How many of you are running load range D tires on your 2500 and 3500s? I've been running a set of Goodyear MTR 305 /17s Load Range D. They're about worn out and am looking for another set. I wanted to run 35/12.50/17 Mud Terrains and I'm buying an Outfitter truck camper. I figured I'd need to upgrade to Load Range E tires with the camper. The only Load Range E tires I can find in that size are Truxus and I don't hear much good about them. I also looked at Toyo but they are on national backorder not to mention very pricy. I'm also thinking about BFG Mud Terrains. But they are only Load Range D however they are rated over 3000 pounds. Any suggestions?

I am running D tires, and they handle the weight well. But I am with in their limit.

I have had very good luck with BFG's both AT's and MT's....even way overloading them.

Load Range D or E not only indicator

You need to look at the max weight capacity on the tire to really know how much it will handle. I run BFG's and the D rated tire has a higher weight rating than some corresponding E rated tires. Just my opinion. I sold a lot of tires and no one ever came back a said anything but thanks for the recommendation.

A little background....
I put a set of TrXus 285x70x16 on my '99 and got over 30k miles out of them rated at 3820 ea. cost was under $200 ea.
Following that previous experience I put 35x12.50x17 TrXus (3640lb) on my '04... great tire except I only got 15k out of those. cost was just over $200 ea and has gone up since to about $250
Just a week ago put on the new Toyo 35x12.50x17 M/T's $288 ea. there are a few sets here and there Only time will tell how well they live. Have about 2k on them already as I decided last minute to make the trip from western Oregon to eastern Idaho last weekend to Bully Dog - Dog Days. Seem to be doing OK so far.

The only other tire I could find this time around that had enough load rating in a 17" was the Super Swamper SSR's that were not available last fall when I put the TrXus on.
