Tire size for 05 dually 4x4

Just wondering if anyone has a 03 up dually 4x4 and has installed a bigger tire size? Does anyone know what size will fit comfortably and not rub?

Your truck looks great! I am just looking to add bigger tires, not quite as big as yours though. I pull gooseneck trailers alot, so dont want to add a lift to it. Any idea of a bigger tire size i can run without putting spacers on the rear duals?

Go 19.5s no spacer and more weight capacity!
265/70 R 19.5 no rubb

These are 285/70/17s with 1.5" spacers in between and 1/4" spacer on the very inside....

I have Cooper 265/70/17 S/T's on the back and they will touch...barely fully loaded with a 25k trailer with the springs sitting 1/2 inch off the bumpstops at 80psi. Unloaded gives you a 1/4 inch spacing...The only thing you have to be careful of is a rock getting between the tires empty and then towing. I'd be happier with .5 inch spacer. 285/75/17 Toyo O/C A/T's would be about the same as my 265 mud tires as they both have 11inch width overall. KS

Armstrong Performance, did you have to put the 1/4" spacer on the inside because they were rubbing, and do you have enough space inbetween the duals when you tow?

With the 1.5" spacers, about a 1/8" of the trucks studs stuck out past the spacers, so I had to put them on the inside. I have PLENTY of room while towing.
