Tire comparison?? What's the best and Worst what to pick

I'm in the process of buying new tires (285/65/18 or 325/60/18)
My dilemma is that I'm running BFG AT KO's (285/65/18) now and I just don't think that I got good mileage out of them I dont do that much towing so that's not an issue

Here's the Tires I'm looking at Now

1.Toyo Open Country A/T $$
2.Nitto Terra Grappler $
3.Pro Comp XTREME ALL TERRAIN $$$
OR
Just Go with BFG AT's again $$

So any and all sugestions will help
I have no lift and will be putting a level kit in soon
the tires will be going on 18X9 rims

My look

I have tried all you listed but with slight differences, my BFGs were MTs and my Pro Comps were X-Terrains and Limited edition 37 inch MTs. The Toyos have the best wear but are usually going to be the most expensive. My best all around buy are the BFG MTs, on my 3/4 ton running 35s and doing a lot of highway driving pulling trailers, racing, burnouts and just normal stuff i was able to get nearly 73,000 miles out of a set by rotating every 3500 miles. The Nitto Grapplers were nice but not enough wear for the price and if you go with the Mud Grapplers be ready for a loud ride. Now to the Pro Comps. The 37 inch limited edition tires i had looked great and had good wear, I got them on am warranty trade out and nearly had heart failure when they told me the price for a spare(nearly $400,which is more than the TOYO 37x12.50 MT), but at around 35,000 miles they were at 1/2 tread. Got rid of the because I went to 40 inch tires on 22.5 Alcoas (which look awesome on my dually). As for the X-Terrain Pro Comps I loved them, low road noise, great handeling on and off road, as well as in dry, rainy, and snowy conditions. Only problem I had with them was they are a directional tire (as are the Extreme ATs) which on my dually made them a pain in the tail end to rotate. As far as they all go i personally would go with the Toyos if you have the money and if not seriously look into some BGS mud terrains. My last pick would be the NITTOS. Too much money for the short life of the tire. Plus a Nitto Terra Grappler 295 wasnt much bigger than my stock Godyear GSA 245, that was edited by admin after you lift a truck and the tires arent much bigger.

X2 on that.. I haven't had the grapplers of xtreme's but I have had pro comp's mud terrain's and they rate lower to me than the bfg's..

I have had the toyo's and they are in my opinion a superior tire for these trucks.

I dont have experience with the Toyo's or the Grapplers but ive run the BFG's and the PC Extreme A/T's. I like the bfg's, they wear well and have decent traction. But these procomps freakin rock. Im not sure why Eddy Reyes didnt like his but my 37x12.5R17's ride just as good as my 315/70r17 BFG a/t's and are wearing just as good if not better. Ive got almost 15k miles with probably 75-80% tread left and the traction from these is so much better than the bfg's. These are some of the most aggressive a/t's ive seen. If i dont switch to the Toyo's next time, im gonna run these again.

I've gotten 70,000 to 80,000 miles out of eight sets of BFG AT/KO's. This includes rotating them with a spare every 5,000 miles.

I had the nittos on my 01 psd. got right around 30k miles, got stuck more times with those tires than i did with street tires. Don't care for them.

This time i'm going to try out the PC X-AT's

The extrems are a new breed.

I would get the 325/60's XAT's over all the other...hands down.

They are amesome tires. I still can't tell my have been driven on...except the little molding bumps...pimple are gone.

My last 37x12.5 BFG MTs lasted 75k...wore them down to 3/16 of an inch.

But they ride and handle like crud after 1/2 worn...and the first 1/2 takes 30k... So that is why I switched.

I have 10 or 12k on mine now...and you can't even measure the wear.
