Tonight 3 different times my truck through the P0336 code. I would erase it with smarty. It tripped 3 times within 2 hours.. Whats causing this? Isn't that a code tst mainly causes? I have never had any issues til just now. Plus my smarty is download and my tst has been off. Any ideas? I got the ground on my tst on the battery. Going to check all the connections tomorrow day make sure its good..

 

Its a crank position sensor code. Yeah tst some times does this.

 

Hmm.. I just had it updated to the r49 from my old r47 last month and it has been running great intil last night when It did this. Gonna see if it does again today.

 

my TST did this all the time. I never noticed a loss of performance from it though.

 

Whenever it trips the code I had been just driving normal and easy around town and my tst was off and just had the smarty on. I been keepin it on standard program and I turned it on Late twins just to try it and I kept it on there and it started doin this soon after. But I can feel a slight jult/miss really fast when it trips the code then its fine.

 

Yeah its the tst. Mine is the r49 too and it doesn't matter if its on or off it will still do it but it only does it at about 1100 rpm but it doesn't happen to often to me though.

 

Yep....happened to me at the track last night....any time i blip the throttle...
