Do a search on here about the FASS....tons of INFO on why and how it works.....also...goto www.dieselpp.com . Info on there as well.

ALSO...to add to the confusion....we just released a new unit: The FASS/HPFP 95 Series (Its about 25% smaller than the 150 Series). This will have the 95,150, and 200(HP) GPH volumes as the 150 Series has....

I don't have any pics, but, I basically cut the whole front of my box out and then removed the piece of rubber that goes between the edge of the radiator and headlight assembly. Now air going into the grill goes directly into my airbox. No need for a tube hanging down around the bumper area - much easier.

I can assure you I cannot load pics or I would. maybe another subscribing reader will have pics or be able to scan them for you. I am going to do my 06 that way when its here. reason for the better results ,we suspect less turbulence.

Does it even matter how much of the airbox is cut away? Some people say they use small holes and some one big one, but in all reality, would it be possible to just cut away the bottom half of the airbox? I'm not trying to say that anyone would because this isn't practical but is there a vacuum issue on the bottom side of the airbox in relation to the top side? Thanks.

behind the rear bumper ,air is cooler than in the engine bay. I would not cut the bottom. that would allow huge amounts dirt into the filter.
