I just got my sbc 3250 dd installed and the guy said to be careful because if i put to much on it i will break my input shaft! Is there a better input shaft i can install to keep this from possibly happening?

 

Most guys that are tearing up the G56 are above 650HP. Even then they tear up gears in the case. You might have a snapped shaft come up now and then but I dont think they are from being poorly designed but a bad part from new. If you insist on a stronger part get yours cryo treated, thats about all you can do for now.
