Testing a boost gauge

Hey all is there any easy way to test to see if my boost gauge is working correctly. I cleaned my airfilter, changed the fuel filter, checked everywhere for leaks and I can find nothing. now i think i have only two possibilities, one it is starving for fuel, as in bad lift pump, or two my gauge isn't reading the proper boost...

With my power pup on extreme and the quadzilla on 100 hp if I hammer it from a stop, it spews a 5 or 10 foot puff of smoke then cleans right up, boost peaks almost right away at 15 psi and then drops to 0. EGTs peak at about 1000, which seems really low considering it is mounted preturbo.

What do you guys think?? I am leaning towards a fueling problem because witht this setup i would think I shoudl be getting higher performance, higher boost, higher egts and more smoke.

Thanks guys

You can test the boost by adding air pressure to your system. Make sure it is no more than 30 PSI. I would double check for leaks first. Check your boots for rub holes & loose clamps.
