I've tried smarty and bullydog(including the PMT) on several different trucks. Some truck react better to Smarty and others to bullydog. But I will say that I have had 4 trucks so far that the bullydog killed the ecm in. Bob actually got me a program to load on the Smarty to fix one of them. The PMT also crashed that very first time I used it. Both are awesome products. The PMT is a super nice piece. But we run Samrtys on all of our trucks. Several sold and never a problem. Have never had the pleaseure of dealing with Buddy Kunz, have only heard great things about him. From what I hear, he is a super guy. I can tell you firsthand that Bob is awesome. He has helped me on several occasions. Overall, I think the Smarty pulls a little harder. I've also used Diablos Predator/Puck stack, but it felt a little weaker than samrty or bullydog. But a great stack for the money.

 

Who is this Buddy guy I keep hearing about? Someone at Bully Dog?

 

Buddy is the head dodge engineer at bullydog he creates all the tunes you see out their and keeps lots of things around their running smoothely. Super Guy and has gotten me out of several jams. Anyone you can call on a friday night a 1am and they walk you through your problem and get you running is a great guy in my book.

 

I've heard just the opposite on another guys truck that a smarty killed the ecm and had to get a bullydog to fix it so I guess all have thier problems. I know of zero trucks around here running the smarty but about 15-20 running the bullydog and only one truck had a problem and it was with the power pup and it was a 6.uh 0.

 

Does anybody have any experiance with the TST POWERMAXCR I have a 2003 Dodge cummins with exhaust,banks elbow,exhaust manifold & fass system the truck seems to run good,I just got the truck and am new to dodge

 

TST is a great product, I will also recomend Smarty, or Triple Dog.

 

thanks for correcting me. i typed it wrong. you cannot adjust smarty on the fly. thats what i disliked most.
