Hey guys,
If you remember I wasn't real happy with the silver 64 turbo on my dually. After we rebuilt the engine I decided to up the turbo size a little. Well I have to say I hated the way the truck ran with the 64. As my luck would have it I overnighted my turbo to II to have it switched back to a 62 and the next day Brandon says the turbo never made it... Well I tracked it and yup UPS has misplaced it!!! Yup they lost it... $250 for shipping... So I have Brandon overnight me a new silver 62. I can't tell you how much better the truck runs with the 62. It's cooler in town and at 75 mph. Hardly any smoke around town. By the way my 1st turbo showed up at II the next day.
So now I have a new silver 64 and a 62. I may have Brandon rebuild the 64 into a second turbo for a twin setup. So who's running a II twin setup?

so a 62 is perfect for you waht are the other dimensions 71 or 65 and what size housing

 

the silver series has a 74mm turbine and a 14 mm exhaust housing.

 

topper you tow heavy though so a little less spool is alright with you in return for lower egt's im trying to figure out how much hp a 62/65 is good for?

 

According to II it will support 650 hp. With the Smarty on 5 I will see just about 1400 wide open. But thats well over 100 mph.
