Thanks for the clarification. I guess I read that as the glass half empty instead of full.

No offense intended, but I want to be sure I understand you here.
Only Girly Men offend easily. Ptgracia is right, I worded it wierd. The OEM Links are junk. You won't break the 2 aftermarket links mentioned... (unless you install them wrong.)

Don't waste your time on another stock set. Just ditch the stock parts for the better parts mentioned above. I've seen the stock end links bent on stock trucks.

Didn't your KORE system come with better links? Or at the very least sway bar drop blocks?

if you install a lift without drop blocks, you probably have bent your kryptonite, titanium composite, ultra high quality factory end links.

well i recently started having problems with my endlinks and my truck only has 13000 miles on it but i think its because of the roads and conditions i go through i was looking into the lazarsmith ssss or drop blocks and end links and new sawy bar bushings.....which route would be best to take??

The SSSSS is intended to correct the cantilever effect the drag link has on the sector steering shaft and ensure true input from the driver to the tires.

The end link upgrades offered by Lorenz/Carli, et al will correct the cheap design the Chrysler guys were forced to use to come under their cost targets ...

If you've got the cash, the best thing to do is upgrade both. The SSSSS will help your steering box last longer and help in the handling dept. with the increased stiffness in the bushings he uses. The upgraded end links will help in the handling dept and prevent anymore problems related to this design deficiency.

Additional note ... with the 315s and the 2" spacer up front, it would be a good idea to upgrade your track bar or use one of Lazarsmith's offset track bar bushing sets to help correct the front end geometry.

don't need to do drop blocks if your doing the extended links.

LORENZ uses Billet 4130 Chormolly for the actual links as well. My machinist hates me. He went through more taps and bits than he ever has, and didn't make a dime on our last production run. The Rod Ends that Carli and I both use are a toss up in the strength dept, as they are the same units... FK 4130 Chromolly heat treaded.

I'm usually a proponent of "Keeping It Simple Stupid" by using less parts, but this product was a no brainer. We use 3 pieces vs 2 because it increased the overall strength in this application.
Have you seen a 17-4 Stainless End Link bend? In fact if you look at all the trophy trucks all their heims and uniballs use 17-4 misalignment spacers. Fox uses 17-4 shafts in all their high end shocks. Even after CT did all his jumps which actually uses every inch of travel. The End Links are perfect after all the abuse that was thrown at them. The stud also works a lot better for your every day joe because he doesn't have to drill out his washers. Just plug and play......
