Swapping a 2wd 48re to a 4x4

What all has to be swapped between the two trannys do you have to swap the overdive units and the output shafts or one or the other. Thanks

If I'm right you do have to swap both the 2wd OD section and output shaft out to the 4x4 parts.

What are you trying to do?

That's all you will need to change, you can steal the shaft from a 47RE, and the case too.
