Surprise, surprise, the Ramifier Rocks!!!
Surprise, surprise, the Ramifier Rocks!!!
So far I've run a 100hp Quad, the 140hp Quad, the Triple Dog, TST, and Ramifier.
Only dyno results I have ('til tomorrow) are for the 100hp quad and the 100hp Ramifier.
Both boxes were run on the same (stock) truck with an AFE intake and Banks exhaust. Both runs on Mustang dynos with stock hp#'s that were very close.
Quad:
Stock 247/474
100hp 336/685
Gains of 89hp and 211 lb-ft.
Ramifier:
Stock 254/478
100hp 359/727
Gains of 105hp and 249 lb-ft.
I tell you, it surprised me. Ramifier (MP-8) does make the power it advertises!
That said, it sure makes the motor rattle more than the Quad. I bet they use a bit more pressure. They must, as they don't hook up to the APPS or data link.

I ran the ramifier for a few months (marketed up here as an NADP Heavy Hauler), and found the rattle excessive to the point of being unnerving, and also developed a run on condition that nearly shortened my truck a few times. After a full throttle burst, if for some reason I had to back out of it, the engine would still pull hard for a few seconds, got interesting as the brakes on these trucks work hard enough without adding that kind of load. I returned it and bought the Edge, due to product availability. Hope yours works well and longer than mine.
Facts
Just for the record,The run on condition will happen with all high horsepower box's ....The engine is calling for 28000 or so,of rail and the pump can't keep up!!! After a bigger rail pump install that will go away!!!!
The pressure induced run-on is something I learned to drive around when I had the Quad modules. Just back off the throttle at 3k and shift 200rpm later. No problemo.
Helps that I have a manual trans, too. I can always stab the clutch.

I like mine too!
One thing I have noticed is even when the dial is turned down all the way it still seems to apply pressure. The **** works good . No connections or wires touching. I know its not in my head cause when I unplug it,it immediately sounds different. Anyone else notice this? No complaints, just wondering.
