I think 285s would look really small under a 4" lift. i think they look small under my truck with no lift, compared to 315s.

They would look too small. 35's look just about perfect IMO.

+3 on the 285's being too small. The 315 is just about the perfect fit with a 4" lift.

had mine for 3mo and 3k and no problems yet, but a slight pull to the right which I've read is common of these trucks. Make sur to get the bilstiens or a quality shock not the superlift shocks.

hmmm, maybe the leveling kit with the adjustable lower control arms is better setup for 285's. I have a 06 reg cab 2500 4x4 ctd 6spd 3.73 's and am doing all the research I can before lifting. I have been to all the forums and seems alot of guys have trouble with all lifts. It seems that if you can get the axle/wheels set back in the same location as stock after the lift your OK, but I have not found anyone who has measured before and after lift and alignment to see if wheels/axle are back to factory location . I see alot of lifted trucks with the wheels pulled back towards the back fender because when the susp goes up the axle goes back. I have done older trucks but they had L springs, just trying to get the right setup, there has got to be a way.
