Curious about these tires:

STS Super Swamper A/T radials.

How well do they hold up?

How well on highway?

How well offroad?

How well for sled pulling?

Looks like an interesting design and I noticed them on several trucks in the diesel power mags that were sled pulling. I understand they are for the person seeking a tire between an all terrain and a mud tire. I think that's me.

I had a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers and they wore out with 10000 miles and really didn't do well off road. On the street they gripped great -- but like I said didn't last.

 

They will were out VERY FAST on the street.But they do hook like a SOB on the pulling track.

 

the radials will wear or the bias will?

 

They both will wear fast,they are a soft tire for a heavy truck.

 

my set in the 37s on my 04 lasted 25k on the road and that was it they were radials and i will never buy another set of them again now im back to stock tires on my new 06

 

They are loud on the highway, test drove a truck with them on very loud.

 

very loud good if u dont want to hear the wife
