I see that Interco makes the TSL SX in a 36x12.50x17. Has anyone run this tire, or any bias ply tires on such a heavy truck? I had 38 TSLs on my Chevy, but that was alot lighter of a truck. The tires would look sick, but I dont want it to drive sick either.

i run swamper mt's and i love them...they are bias radials...

 

The SX series is for all out offroading... They are super heavy because they have extra steel in them to protect the sidewalls from tree roots and rocks. Awesome tire but I would never considering putting them on my truck that I drive everyday... Just my opinion tho.

 

yea, im kinda thinking the same thing - beings I drive 100 miles aday - just needed some positive negative reinforcement

 

I understand Personally I LOVE my nitto a/ts...

 

those are for offroad vehicles only. sure their dot approved but your truck would kill the soft rubber in 12k miles and theyd ride like crap. Its a great woods tire though as mentioned above.

 

yea i only have 6k on my tires and they are def showing some wear. i love um anyway (i will replace with nitto mud grapplers)
