Stock + Quad XZT + Smarty SW1 or 2
I doubt many folks are running this combination, but I previously just had the XZT and started to get the itch for more power down low. Having heard great things about the smarty in general, and this stack in particular, I thought I would give it a shot.
The question is, is this going to be too much for the tranny? Any ideas on what my EGT's should look like with normal daily driving? Honestly the only time I get on it 'hard' would be to get on the freeway or to pass someone.
Just want to be careful and not over-do it until I have the funds to get the rest of the goodies. I know my priorities are out of whack but now I have a reason to get the rest :P

i am running the smarty and race zxt. i usually drive around with the smarty on 5 or 8 and the quad off, unless i really wanna let someone have it. the egt's are 600-750* cruising and stay under 1200*(but i have an aftermarket turbo) the combo is really fun and driveable.
well, I just updated the new smarty to the mild tq. mgmt software and downloaded catcher #1 (30hp with timing) to the truck (which still has the quadzilla XZT installed) and so far so good! Throttle response seems improved with a pinch of extra get-up-and-go..
it was hard to see what the smoke looked like in the dark tonight, but I did notice a little more than before when hitting it hard from a dead stop. Tranny didnt seem to slip any but I'm not going to push my luck.
The throttle response and passing power is mainly what i'm after and it has made a noticeable improvement in those areas.
next on the list is: quad commander, goerend TC, VB, and input, and then eventually a sps6280
