I got 4 1/4" spacers with my 265's. First I only put 1 on and they were too close for comfort so I put the other one on. 1/2" is just right, and theres plenty of threads left for the lugs imo. My m/t's with no spacers at all were so close that when I dropped a quarter in between them it didnt fall through.

i got just the thing for ya,,,that is if your ever gonna put bigger than a 265 on your truck,,,,i had 265's on mine but then i put rockstars on it and the rim wasnt deep enough so i bought inch and a half spacers,,,,theyre billet aluminum. the inside tire has its own set of lugs and has studs for the outside tire seperate,,,,so theres actually 16 lugs per side,,,,i put 305's on mine so i had to get 2" spacers instead,,,,,now i have like an 1/8th left at the bottom,,,gimme 50 bucks and an address and theyre yours,,,,i just dont have a use for em and if itll help you out,,,holla at a *****,,,i paid 149 new

I had my camper in the back which is 4000 lbs and the tires didn't touch, and that was with BFG AT's which are known to be a little soft.
