Stock 48re with Stage 5 Edge Juice

Will normal diving conditions on level 5 kill my tranny? I don't plan on driving like a "bat out of #@$" just wanted to know if hurt the truck?

no one can honestly say. Its a gamble. I tore my tranny up with stock power...thus i went to a DTT and now add power with no problems

I can attest to this. Mine was slipping and shuddering pretty bad. I then had an Hts VB put in that took slip and shutter away. Then I took apart tranny to finish with good stuff and found that all fibers on clutches were totally gone just metal to metal. I didn't drive hard to much or tow with any extra power and it happened.

my stock tranny held crazy larry a few times but the converter began to slip early on. same here I didnt pull anything on high settings. it is all a gamble on how the tranny will hold up.
