Step Bar Install Help Needed......

Step Bar Install Help Needed......

i have a set of iron cross tube step/nerf bars..................

anyone have a pic of how it gets mounted.....i dont understand the frame locking bolt.....

it uses a bolt attached to an offset rectangular head and a square plastic cover.....i just don't understand, please help.

Not sure how the bolts look. Possibly take a picture, or call the manufacture and ask them (after all you did buy there product) Mine had almost a t bolt and I had to slide it in the hole then tighten. It was a bit tricky but got it. Call the vendor, they'll help.

I went with the factory bars, I loved the look of them.

On mine (nasta stainless bars) the rectangular head goes into a rectangular hole in the rocker that is covered by tape (then you turn it 90 deg to make it captive) and the plastic rectangular piece is just there to hold the "T" bolt in place until the bracket is attached...careful that you don't let that bolt drop into the rocker cavity!
