Steering Issue
Ok guys, this might get long but ill try my best to keep it short. I'm having a serious and very aggravating problem with my truck. My Truck is a 2007.5 2500 MegaCab 4WD.
What is happening is that while driving my truck wants to "juke" around the road. It's hard to explain but as it goes along the road, taking bumps the front wheels feel as if they are just jukeing left and right, almost like they are loose on the lug nuts, but are not. Also, I'm getting a clunk in my steering wheel. It happens when coming to a complete stop, taking off, or taking a good size dip in the road. I was having this issue before so i decided to start working on the front end. So this is what I did.
Carli Ball Joints Uppers and Lowers,
Carli Complete Sway Bar and End Links,
Carli Adjustable Track Bar
Mopar T-Link Complete Upgrade, Drag Link, Tie rods, and Correct Pitman Arm
Bilstein 5100 shocks
After the install, all the "Chatter" in the front end is gone. Still have some play in the steering wheel, and that **** jukeing around the road!! The jolt and clunk im getting in the steering wheel is also confusing. I have no clue what it could be!!!
If anyone has any insight as to what this could be please let me know. I hope the next dollar I spend is the dollar that fixes this!

I'm having the same issues as you. I'll play around with my tire pressures to see if that helps. The tire shop put 80 psi in all 6 tires a couple months back when I bought them and it seemed to amplify the problem. I do know that my steering gear box is sloppy to say the least but the issue really came to life after the new tires.

I have the same problem in terms of steering feel, I have a brand new borgeson steering box and steering shaft sitting in my shop waiting for me to have time to put them in, have someone turn the wheel and watch how far the steering box input shaft turns before the sector (output) shaft turns. that should be where the problem is
