Steering column gauge mount ????

First time post...Have been scarfing really useful info off this site for some time and decided to join....Thanks for all the help thus far!!

Looking to order gauge(s) this week... (any Commanders to be had anywhere??) I guess Quad is working as fast as they can to fill those backorders.

Because of the uncertainty of the wait on the Commanders, I've opted to go with the ISSPRO (EGT/Boost) or the SPA dual setup. As far as the mount goes, I've decided (?) on the steering column mount if I do the ISSPRO's.

Anybody have any issues with this mount? ...any attachment issues? ...does the mount stay put? Is there a gray (not Taupe) paint available ? Does it block a lot of the speedo and tach?

If I go with the SPA, the SRT pillar mount sure looks like a plug and play arrangement ... no painting!

Can somebody point me to a picture of either or both?

I just used a small piece of velcro in the middle of mine. The fit is fairly tight and without anything to hold it in place it stays pretty much in place. With nothing to hold it, it will raise up maybe a 1/4 inch or so, but not enough to slip out of the rubber molding around the gear shifter.
