Stacks or rear exit exhaust??

Cant decide which one to do?? I definetly want a straight pipe setup. Which one to do?? The only think I dont want with stacks is to cut a hole in my bed and also getting a bed cover with stacks would be hard to do considering you have to cut the cover to leave room for the stacks, so (2) choices:

A= Dual stacks with the stock 4" pipe and then 5" on top

or

B= Muffler Delete pipe with just the factory 4" through the bottom rear exit

I still havnt decided on what to do with the CAT, considering it doesnt really make a difference leaving it on or off performance wise.

Check E-bay, nice kit. I got mine, and the install was smooth. The price was a lot cheaper than Black cloud diesel.com too

I have dual 7'' stacks in my truck, some of the positives are the catch everyones attention, and they are something different then everyone, they sound really great to. But there are downsides they can be very loud in side your cab depending on how high they rise up, also they can make your bed really dirty because the smoke will swirl in the bed again depending on how high they are. Personally I love stacks I have both single and dual in my trucks. There are alot of people who sell kits but the best place I have found is Black Cloud Diesel you can find them on the web. Also Black Cloud now puts internal mufflers in them.

I just bought a new Dodge, I owned a 96 powerstroke with stacks and sold it, I don't have any pics yet because the stacks are laying next to the truck right now it should be done by Monday and I will get some on here.

I voted stacks, however buy a good straight through muffler if you want to keep your hearing.

I thought stacks looked bad 'till I went to a dyno meet. Saw a swb 4x4 2nd gen w/ short, fat stacks about 3' apart. Came about 3-4" above the cab, slash-cut about a 35 degree angle....

All depends on how you do it, how YOU like it, and....... beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I think they were twin 6"

If you are gonna ever sledpull stacks on the only way to go. If you are gonna stay on the street and not tow a bumper trailer than go straight out the back. ks
