I just ordered some stacks!!!, 5"x36 mitre cut. I had them cut the mitre to 22.5* instead of 45* before the chrome them. IHopefully they will be done in a couple of weeks. Anyway I was wondering if anyone has tried those muffler inserts. I don't want them to be to loud to pull my trailer. Right now i have an mbrp and it gets pretty loud when I take 18,000 plus up a hill. I am going to keep the same muffler and i may get the inserts also. any comments?

 

I have them in my stacks to help with the drone inside the cab they helped a little with that, but it made a bigger difference on the sound outside the cab and I wanted just the oppisite, but that life its hard to get everything the way we want hope this helps a little.

 

Thanks, I will probably get them because the price is right. do you still get good sound outside? The ones I am looking at look like the inside of an mbrp, it is just a steel tube with spiraling holes. I don't know if they are made by mbrp but they look like it. My diesel shop said they have some that are just sitting there so if I want them I can have them. I wonder if they are removable or if they weld in place, it would be nice to be able to take them out if I don't like them.
