Installed 6" miters a couple weeks ago. I'm lovin the look but hating the noise! Had 5" aussies for a year and nowhere near as loud. Put my MBRP reonater on and these 6"er's are still untolerable. I can't get over the difference an inch makes in noise! Has anyone had any luck with a muffler that will shut these things up? The cat is still on the truck( no guts)and this creates a limit on muffler length. Haven't measured yet but will be looking into this hot and heavy or these 6's can hit the road. I hope some one on here has tackled this before and has some recommendations

 

Forgot to mention I have tried MBRP resonater and it drops the noise some but increases the drone.
