Stacks HELP Please

Well I got them installed cause I had to have them. Installed dual 7" miter's and they've been on for 3 days and my head hurts so bad. I need a solution, I know there is a way to quiet them down, just need some idea's from someone in my situation, or if you had them and couldn't get rid of all the drone and noise and removed them please let me know, I cant handle this for to long before they have to come out.

Thank You

Are the tops of the tips over your cab? That will help, believe it or not...

they are split, I didnt want them to high, I've been doing some searching, maybe I'll try a walker 51" noisebreaker muffler under the cab and see how that works. I really want to keep them on but I cant even enjoy the sound of my new turbo. Anybody running a similar muffler with stacks. Would a single stack be quieter than duals?

Stack look great!!! I have been running a Donaldson muffler #M100465 on a couple of my customers trucks. They seem to be very happy with it. I get them from Ryder fleet products for aroung 75.00

Have they worked good on any stack trucks or have you only put them on regular exhaust trucks? Thank you for the input, my head is still pounding..lol

FTE Diesel has a 30" resonator that sounds great outside and no DRONE inside.

I put one under a mega cab for a customer and then ran a set of 6" bullhauler stacks. I think a shorter muffler/resonator would help,or a set of baffles from spiral specalities will work, but they are a little pricy.

Well just got my 51" walker megaflow installed with my stacks and its a whole new animal, very pleased with it and very tolerable, and best of all the turbo whistle is pronounced and sounds mean. My low end torque is back and my EGT's are still down. Maybe now they can stay on the truck.

I'm workin towards stacks on my '06. I currently have the resonator, and no muffler on the stock pipe with a 5" tip. It's only slightly louder than stock. I definately want more noise and I love the look of stacks. Does the muffler keep the stack sound and just tone it down to a more reasonable level??? or is it back to stock sounding?
