how is that water meth kit, I have read that it will make the inside of your intake rust. or something like that. I was looking at it for a while until I read that about it.

 

Ya see thats what I figured. Either way I'll probably end up keeping the banks and just turn smarty off when I pull. The banks is safe and pulls really good

I just got the smarty today and my banks isn't working now. How did you go about stacking the smarty and banks. Did you pull the speedloader, then download the smarty then plug the banks back in or what? I dono what happened but I didn't think the banks was working but I checked the light and it showed that it was but when I put the smarty back to stock to make sure the banks is working its not. The green light is still on on the banks but its not working at all

 

I left the smarty downloaded in my truck and then hooked all the banks six gun up. It is working. I dont turn the banks up at all, I just leave it on 1 so that I can use my pda as guages. but when I do turn the banks up you can feel the difference. granted I am only running the stock smarty software. which from what I here doesnt compare to the betas. Watch out though, the smarty by itself on level 5 was pushing my egts between 1450 and 1500. so be careful.

Once you put on the smarty beta, you will find your banks will make little difference even on 6.

Then you will find it useful to ditch the Banks. And put on quad x2 or TST or at least MP-8

 

Ok thanks I got it working. Thats what I did. I have smarty on 2 and can feel a big difference when I turn the banks up and down. I'll probably keep it like this for awile until I get more safety stuff. I was supposed to have the water/meth on this week but the guys screwed me around so it won't be on till next week. With the smarty on 2 its pretty good and I can use banks to go up and down on power and the banks limits my egts pretty good

 

thats good as long as you got it all working together. If you have anymore ?s let me know. As soon as I get my x2 in and stack it with the smarty Ill get some input out here. I am also waiting on a turbo that I might buy monday. we will see.

 

FWIW-- as you turn up the smarty, the effect the banks adds will be less and less until you have a smarty beta on; the level 6 with banks at that point adds very little and can even hinder you or take back some power as it defuels because of safeties.

 

Ya I plan on getting rid of the banks for quad or tst once I beef up some more stuff

 

I run the Smarty with the 6 gun also, just uploaded the wild program again, going to see how level 3 wild and the banks play together...

No I'm still gona go with the original deal but I'm eventually gona get the smarty again. My trucks just not ready for it yet

 

I have banks 6 gun speed loader pda and i jus pruchaced SMARTY to stack with the banks, and WOW is all i have to say. i am only runnin on level 2 because FASTACO said its safe. I uploaded the smarty and i noticed huge power difference. and SW-2 is only 60hp fuel w/ no added timing. my EGTs got a lil higher then i wanted 1300+ and that was with stage 3 water meth from snow performace. Jacob/Justin at Lagunaspeed.com was extremly nice and help full. Justin even spoke to me for 63mins about what i should do next. Stackin the smarty was the bes addvice i have takin from any diesel form. THANKS EVERYONE!
