No, becuase on the extreme setting, the DL is already raising pressure in the fuel rail, so you won't get a 130+70 from a DL/EZ combo (at peak HP). I've been reading about a 20HP or so increase in peak HP with an EZ over just the DL program alone.

You mean to make power, or to blow up your engine? I hate to go into preaching mode again, but it scares the hell out of me when I see people with basically stock trucks thinking about running a TST all-out, let alone combining it with a DL on the extreme setting. Rest assured, you WILL destroy something in short order (probably your transmission, but your turbo, injection pump, and even the engine itself are all candidates for destruction) with that kind of set-up. That has the ability to bleed the fuel rail dry, supplying enough fuel for about 600+HP, which can only be cooled by a good twin-turbo setup (and even then not for extended periods of time). Factor into this equation that your transmission will start to slip around 400HP, tear itself up at around 450HP, and turn into a nice warm pile of slag around the 550HP range (which, fortunately your your transmission, you probably won't get to with a melted-down turbo).

Now, if you were planning on doing all of these upgrades before running on the ragged edge of fuel delivery, please accept my apologies. If you weren't, please re-think your approach, both for your truck's well-being, as well as your own. Sitting on the side of the highway with a blown-up truck isn't very much fun

If you mean in conjunction with the Downloader, I'd say injectors are better. They're also a lot more expensive, both to purchase and install (if you don't install them yourself). An EZ will come out to about $20/HP - where the injectors (not counting installation costs) are about half that, for the amount of power realized when used with the Downloader. Now, whether or not that power is useable will be determined by the condition of the rest of the powertrain.

Be sure you don't ignore your fuel system. You're probably already bringing the supply pressure to the injection pump down to 0 on the extreme setting (people have been able to do that with just an EZ on the engine). You're not realizing as much power as you can, and you'll hurt the injection pump at some point. Consider a pusher pump, along with a fuel pressure gauge so you know what' going on.

For now, though - you've got plenty of power. Take care of the fuel system, then the transmission, then a turbo, before adding another box or injectors. Remember that adding more fuel, without adding more air, just makes heat and smoke, not power.
